Our Curriculum Pathways

At Dame Ellen Pinsent school we have three curriculum pathways and they are designed to meet the needs of all of our pupils across the school. 

Our younger children will start within the Seedlings Pathway and either move to Woodlands or Orchard from there. Our Pathways are fluid and each year staff and professionals have discussions in order to make the right decision about which Pathway each pupil will follow.

Our school follows the Ruth Miskin RWI Phonics and Reading scheme and for those children that are not ready, we teach Phonics through Attention Autism
